Hi, I’m Emin Issaghoulian, LMFT.
I’ve had to face and navigate what life has thrown at me from the moment I was born. I use that personal and clinical experience to help you empower and evolve your life story and to help you navigate the storms you are caught in.
I bring my authentic self to the therapy room, my humanity, my empathy and my inner drive to help you achieve and actualize your goals and aspirations. I use a warm, casual and evidence based practice approach, to help you find and become your true genuine self, and to enrich your relationships with those you love.
Together we work collaboratively to achieve your goals, One Step at a Time.
Therapy With Me
I create a safe, non-judgmental space that is tailored to you and your goals for therapy. We collaboratively set goals and work together. I use an authentic, warm and client-led approach.
I do this by not only using various evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and various approaches, but also using client focused therapy. This means that I focus on you as a whole, your human experience, your dreams, goals, wants and needs.
I accept you just as you are. I don’t expect things nor judge you based on your lived experiences. We all make mistakes, to be human is to be imperfect and to fail. Thus I wholly accept you as you are, and focus on your strengths as a magnificently unique individual.
“It’s an awfully risky thing, to live”

Areas of Focus
I focus on working collaboratively with adults and teens to help navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Often feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, uncertainty, overthinking, procrastination and relationship issues with loved ones, friends and family accompany these life stressors and changes.
I specialize in collaboratively working with teens, adults and parents of people living with chronic health conditions or congenital heart disease. Together we can navigate through your lived experience with CHD and chronic health issues.
